Research Interest
Xin is a doctoral researcher at MPI CBS, supervised by Nikolaus Weiskopf (Department of Neurophysics) and Nico Scherf. He works on adapting pretrained generative models to new tasks and conditions through fine-tuning and test-time adaptation, currently developing these ideas for diffusion models with simulation-based inference and inverse problems as testbeds. His PhD project is on deep learning reconstruction for fast, ultra-high-resolution MRI. Before his PhD, he worked on medical image analysis, including cardiac MRI segmentation and CT-based assessment of pulmonary hypertension.
